  • Today, the Progress Party has become the first party in UF Student Government to publicly release their entire voting records, keeping the promise they made on the campaign trail in Spring.

  • As of 12:30 am Thursday morning February 26, the Progress Party has won eight senate seats, sweeping the entire Graduate slate and electing Fine Arts candidate Paul Pino!

    Deep thanks go out to all of our candidates, supporters, and those who voted for us, and congratulations to our eight new senators! They'll be joined by sitting Progress Sen. Dave Schneider, bringing the total Progress caucus in the Senate to nine.

  • On Thursday, February 12, Progress Party executive Candidates Ben Dictor, "Grasshopper" Illangkoon, and Jose Ortega signed a formal pledge to return their student-funded salaries to a scholarship fund if elected. "It's the students money", Dictor said in a short speech before the signing.  "I think that [salaries] should be need-based."
